Tinydesk

Inspired by the npr series of the same name, I launched Palo Alto Tinydesk in my sophomore year with two Paly journalism students to showcase musicians in our community and share the stories that inspire their artistry. We hope these intimate performances will bring a smile to our listeners’ day and remind us all that memorable musical moments are just across the quad or the classroom next door. It doesn’t take a grand stage or an army of backup singers for music to move us. All it takes is a simple desk and a microphone.
